Calling all restaurant entrepreneurs! Its time to fulfill your dreams and fill the stomachs of your customers.From serving plates to mystery crates, you design and customize the appearance and menu of your very own restaurant any way you want. Choose from a large list of scrumptious recipes to feed your customers. The quicker the service, the happier your customers will be and the more popular your restaurant will become. Let your taste buds lead the way and become the best tiny chef in the world!

Earning Coins and Chef Bucks

Customers pay you coins each time they have a satisfying meal. As you gain access to better recipes and premium dishes, your customers will leave more and more coins. You can cook instantly, recover spoiled dishes, and buy premium items that yield higher profit and luxury values for Chef Bucks. You will gain a Chef Buck every time you level up.

Popularity

Your popularity will rise each time customers are satisfied and served quickly. Your popularity will decrease if your customers leave because of slow service or if your restaurant is too crowded. As you gain levels, your max popularity will increase.

Cooking

To prepare food for customers, cook meals on stoves. Tap on any available stove to choose from a list of cookbooks; within those books are recipes for dishes. Once the food is made, you need to drag it to a serving table. Dont leave it on the stove too long or the dish will spoil! Once a dish is on the serving table, your waiters and waitresses will take the dishes to your customers. Each dish has a limited number of servings before you have to cook more, so you may want to balance cooking some slow and fast dishes to keep your customers happy.

Serving

When a meal is ready, it's time to serve it to your customers. Tap a ready meal once to select it, then tap the serve button to choose a serving table to place it on. Once your dish is on the serving table, waiters will take the dishes to your customers. You can buy more waiters in the Shop menu.

Shopping

To add or change the look and decorations of your restaurant, tap the shop icon to go into shopping mode. In shopping mode you can change the floor and walls of your restaurant, or you can add windows, tables, chairs and many other decorations. When placing items, be sure to keep clear paths to tables and chairs for your customers and staff. You can use Chef Bucks and coins to expand the size of your restaurant for more space to place items.

Inventory

To place an item in the inventory, you must first tap the “Shop” icon. Once in this mode, you can then tap the item you would like to put into inventory. You will want to tap the purple icon all the way to the left that looks like an open box. When you tap this button, the item will go straight into inventory. When you are ready to take the item back out of inventory, you will be able to locate it by just going into the shop and finding the item in the store. The items you have already purchased will now appear without a price and instead show how many you own. Simply tap on the item you now own and drag it back into your restaurant to get the item again! (Please note that certain items such as mystery box and spinner items will be found in the last slots of your store so you must scroll all the way through to find them!)

Experience

Experience or "XP" is gained primarily by spending coins and Chef Bucks, satisfying customers with food, and expanding your restaurant and wait staff. Your level is determined by how much experience you have. As you gain levels through increasing experience, you can unlock more decoration items, recipes, and much more!

Tiny Social

Tiny Social is a way for you to interact with other users and view other restaurants. To create a Tiny ID, tap on the social icon indicated above. Here, you will be able to create your ID and select an avatar. If you connect with Facebook, you will be able to use your own photo. To visit other restaurants tap the "Visit" button in the social tab. Once inside a restaurant, you can tap on the Tip Jar to leave a tip. You can tip each user once a day. If someone has visited your restaurant and left a tip, you can collect by tapping on the tip jar in your restaurant. Earn reputation points by tipping users' restaurants.

Smaller Icons

- By popular request, we have now made some of the icons on the screen a bit smaller to allow more room to view your restaurant! Also, tap Chef Gustav's help messages to disable them for 90 seconds!

Expansions/Waiters Button

-The waiters and expansions are now easier to access! You can purchase additional help and expansions by accessing them with the simple tap of an icon from the main screen in the game. You can locate this icon between the spinner and map icons!

Recipe Stars

-Also back by popular demand is the ability to view how many dishes you must cook to achieve a star when trying to master a recipe. You can view this from within the cookbook right above the stars.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why cant I add cooked dishes on my serving table?

You must make sure your serving tables are clean and unoccupied. To clean a serving table, tap on it. If there is already a dish being served on a serving table, you cannot combine other meals with it unless they are the same.

Why wont my customers sit at the table?

Remember, you can only have one customer to a chair and a table. If you are getting a Blocked Path notification, this can often mean either your customers cannot get to the table or your restaurant is more popular and needs more seating. Make sure to expand the amount of space they have to move around and seat.

Why do customers keep leaving?

Your customers need to be served shortly after sitting down or they will leave the restaurant. Make sure you have available food and plenty of waiters. Also ensure that there is enough seating and no blocked paths.

How can I reset my game?

You can reset your game by tapping the Question Mark button and tapping on Reset Game. This will start you over from the beginning. Your coins will reset, but you will keep all of your unspent Chef Bucks.

How can I pause my game to keep my food from spoiling?

While there is no pause feature, you can prevent spoiling best by cooking longer dishes. Food will spoil at double the time it took to cook, but never less than an hour (Spaghetti takes 30 seconds to cook, but will not spoil for an hour). The longer a dish takes to cook, the more time you have before it spoils.

What is Luxury?

At this time, Luxury is a measurement of how fashionable your restaurant is.

I downloaded an App to get Chef Bucks but didn't get them, help!

Tiny Chef sometimes offers you apps to download to get Chef Bucks. Occasionally, when downloading those apps, the ChefBucks may take a few moments to register to your account. Before you send in a support ticket, try the following steps: Make sure to open the app you downloaded and leave it open for a few minutes, then give it about an hour for the system to register that you have downloaded the app and award your Chef Bucks. If that doesn't work, try re-downloading the app and repeating the process. If it's still not working, send in an e-mail telling us which app you downloaded, and how many Chef Bucks it was supposed to award.

Chef Bucks were purchased by mistake. How do I get a refund?

In order to get a refund, you'll need to contact Apple Customer Support, because the transaction was completed through the iTunes store. Apple doesn't give us access to your billing information, so we are unable to provide you a refund directly.

Why do I keep seeing "blocked path?"

Waiters and customers can't walk over chairs or tables and they can't walk diagonally. Make sure they have a path that is clear and does not require them to go diagonally.

Why am I not able to access Xmas Chef anymore?

Xmas Chef was a special theme only available during the holidays. We are no longer running this version of Tiny Chef, but you can still play your save game via the regular Tiny Chef app.

I just got a new device. How do I transfer my game to it?

If you have a new device and want to transfer your current game to it, you will need to email support and let them know you want to transfer the game! They will be able to get you playing your name on the new device quickly.

Why can I not open the restaurant that says, "coming soon?"

This restaurant is currently not available. As soon as we have it available, you will no longer see the coming soon and it will be available to purchase.

How do I turn my notifications on and off?

To turn Notifications on or off, you need to go to the Settings > Notifications > Tiny Chef. You can change the settings of what notifications you want to receive there.

How do I move or delete items in my restaurant?

To move items in your restaurant, tap on the Shop icon. Once you are in this mode, you will be able to tap on items and move them to your desired location. If you would like to sell the item, tap on the $ icon.

Why is the progress I am making not saving when I leave the game?

Before exiting the game, try waiting about 15-20 to ensure that our save has taken place.

How do I make my restaurant larger?

To get a larger restaurant, tap on the Shop button. Once inside this menu, tap on the star icon. Here you will be able to purchase expansions and make your restaurant larger.
